We spend  lot of money in Higher Ed on research which is only published in walled garden journals.  It helps you get promoted but has little impact on the world because we make almost no effort to communicate the messages.

That’s the basic thrust of this radio interview but it equally applies to how we structure our teaching and how we lecture.   Ignore the fact the bloke (Randy Olsen) is flogging a book and listen to the message.
