Another case of an app taking something we can already do (mobile live stream video), tweaking it (integrating it with twitter) and hitting the right section of the media (oh look, it’s used by celebs).

But I think for our purposes I agree with this guy (Gene Marks on Forbes.com), Hang Outs give us more options.
Both these apps are IOS only but there are a couple of Android apps scrambling for the same market – Tarsii and STRE.AM.
Apps like this will be a big hit with some people and will probably become the new norm.
All the vapidness of twitter and instragram, but now live and moving. The kids will love it.
